Busy people wanting to give a gift can have problems. What to give? How much time to buy it? Will it be appreciated? Will it be memorable?

experienceTHIS makes it easy to give fun experiences as gifts. We offer a wide variety of experiences including activities such as scuba-diving, a day at a spa, flying lessons, skydiving or even cooking lessons. Each experienceTHIS pack has a vivid and colorful description of the experience and a voucher to be redeemed with the experience provider. These packs are sold through retail stores, as corporate gifts, and through our website online.

Experience gifts are nearly always appreciated, and score highly for being remembered. Until recently they took a lot of time to organize; valuable time that busy people might not have to spare.

experienceTHIS works through local providers to fulfill the experiences. Our experience providers benefit from extra business without extra marketing effort. We bring in new customers through channels that most of our providers cannot target. Many of the experience recipients may then go on to become lifetime customers.

How much are experienceTHIS packs sold for?

Each experience sells for its own individual price. Prices range from $75 to several hundred dollars or more for some experiences.

Many of our experience packs necessarily cost slightly more than similar experiences bought directly from our providers. Margin is factored in to cover packaging, our costs and to make it worthwhile to for our retailers. We try to package experiences that are suitable for beginners, and ones that may not easily be price-comparable with other products offered directly by the provider.

We sell on presentation and ease of buying an experience, not on its price. Our selling proposition is making it easy for busy people to buy gift experiences quickly. We add the value of convenience and security to the experiences of our providers. We make a fun experience an easy option as a gift decision.

4. Availability & Choice - Through our network of retail outlets, our experience packs are made available in places where customers go to buy gifts. – We make it easy to give an experience.

Where will the experience packs be sold?

We sell our experience packs primarily through retail stores and also through our own kiosks at shopping malls. We are currently in the process of signing up retail partners in the Bay Area, and our goal is to have our packs for sale in at least one store in every high end shopping area in the Bay Area. We are currently talking with stores including Sports Basement, Lombardi Sports, Cardology, Edwards Luggage and more.

We also have a corporate incentive gifts program and our packs are also available through our website.

How does experienceTHIS pay, and when?

Our experienceTHIS vouchers are a promissory note of payment to our suppliers. Recipients will present them as proof of payment on the day of their experience. We make it easy for our suppliers to invoice us, and we will make payment within 30 days.

What happens if the customer cancels a booking?

Gift recipients use their experienceTHIS vouchers to pay providers for experiences.

The date and time of the experience are booked by the recipient directly with the provider. Once this booking has been made, experienceTHIS steps back and is not a party to this agreement.

A provider might normally take a deposit payment as a form booking guarantee, and this would also be appropriate where payment is by experienceTHIS voucher. If a customer then cancels or postpones, this is a matter between provider and their customer. The terms and conditions for use of the voucher make this clear to the recipient.

How does one identify a legitimate voucher?

Our vouchers are difficult to forge, and easy to recognize. We also enable providers to validate a voucher online. Once we have reached agreement, we will provide clear instructions for how to recognize our vouchers and how to redeem payment for them.
